Students taking the Data Science Concentration will be working with data, plenty of data to turn them into meaningful insights and explanatory visualizations. The program allows students to dig deeper into the various areas and applications under Data Science like Predictive Analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI), including Machine Learning and Deep Learning models. In addition to the foundational coursework, students pursuing Data Science will take more advanced mathematical and statistical courses to complement their knowledge of modern techniques with that of foundational theory as well. Credit is awarded by Westcliff University. Acceptability of transfer credits to other institutions is at the discretion of the accepting/receiving institution.
King’s College has set up separate centers for all students to cater to their own developmental needs. The Centers are – Student Development Center, Career Services, CERAD, My Emotions Matters, Community Service-Learning Program, Do Lab, teach LAB, Demola, etc. Besides these, international visits, foreign language classes, and many national and international events are organized regularly.
Eligibility criteria are:
Nepali and non-Nepali nationals with a High School degree or equivalent in any discipline are eligible to apply for King’s College BSCS Program. Note: Students must go through the College aptitude test for selection to this program.
If you have completed the qualifying educational level, you can apply on a provisional basis, provided you have already taken the final year examination and passed all previous year examinations. You must submit your final transcript by one month before the admission date. However, even after admission, if you fail to meet King’s eligibility requirement, your admission will be canceled. Fees once paid are non-refundable except for security deposit.
