We're organizing an exciting 2-night, 3-day tour to Ama Yangri specifically for all BSIT and BSCS students! This adventure begins with a scenic bus ride from Kathmandu to Tarkeghyang, where we will gather as a group and kick off our journey. The ride itself will be filled with beautiful landscapes, providing a perfect introduction to the stunning natural beauty of our surroundings.
Once we arrive in Tarkeghyang, we’ll set off on a 3-hour hike up to Chomungthang. This trek is not just about reaching our destination; it’s an opportunity to immerse ourselves in the local culture and experience the warm hospitality of the inhabitants along the route. The views will be breathtaking, with vibrant flora and charming villages dotting the landscape.
On the second day, we will continue our adventure by hiking from Chomungthang to Ama Yangri Peak. This hike promises to be truly rewarding, as you’ll be greeted with spectacular panoramic views of the majestic Himalayas. The serene atmosphere and the sheer beauty of nature will make this part of the trip unforgettable. We’ll take our time at the peak to soak in the scenery and capture memories through photos.
After enjoying our time at Ama Yangri, we will begin the trek back to Tarkeghyang. The descent will allow us to notice the beautiful surroundings from different perspectives, creating a new appreciation for the landscape we traversed. Once we reach Tarkeghyang, we’ll settle in for the night, sharing stories and experiences from the day around a cozy evening meal.
The following morning, we will depart early from Tarkeghyang to head back to Kathmandu. This journey back will provide an opportunity to reflect on the incredible experiences we’ve shared and the friendships we’ve strengthened along the way.
